less than three

I just melted:

some Irish guys were having a singing-contest! Irish men singing?! Are you kidding?! Are you trying to kill me over there?! Loved it.

O'Connors Souvenirs

I want to go to Ireland. I'm watching a movie -The Matchmaker- and it's about a woman in Ireland. I'm not actually following the story, because I just don't feel like it. And chatting, calling and all that kind of stuff mixed with watching television is not the best combination ever. My eyes are telling me to stop.

I think I'm off to bed in a few minutes. I'm super tired,
I've been working all day! O man, that sounds so .. "hard work-ish". Well, I am a hard worker! I'm actually allowed to say that now without having anybody -like my dad used to- look at me like: yeah right! you? hard work? YEAH RIGHT!

Sigh. Sigh. Sigh. Irish accents are so ... hot. No, that's not how I wanted to say it. It's awesome if somebody, especially if it's a man, has an Irish accent.

I feel like writing a book. O man .. Irish accent-guy! I need to pay full attention to this movie. L O V E ! Oeh .. they like eachother. Hehehehe, they're both so stubborn! Why?! You are meant to be together!
Whoops, I got carried away.

OH! HE JUST SAID SOMETHING IN IRISH! I'm so depressed right now. I want to know Irish!

Ah man, this is one of my pathetic, desperate blogs. Pathetically desperate. Desperately pathetic.

Blog from the future.

I just deleted this blog. Removed all the words. Added these words ... for fun.

my very first bamboo creation

we're melting!

People made of sugar shouldn't go outside these days! Especially not in Holland. It's warm. It's hot! The sun is furiously fiery!
I thought it would be fun -since I didn't have to go to work today, thank the Lord!- to hang out in the sun a little. Just a little. Well, that "little" turned out to be "ten seconds".
And unlike the other hot days, there was nobody outside. No neighbors having conversations to eavesdrop [something I quite like to do in my day-to-day life], not even that endlessly crying baby!
It almost seemed like calm before the storm! It did rain a few minutes, but to call that a storm ... nah.
Deep down I hope it's actually going to storm tonight. It just brings along a certain ambiance. Things get more cozy, somehow.

Fortunately I live in a townhouse, and the sun never actually shines in the house, so it's nice and cool in here.
Yet .. the first floor is much hotter than the living-room.

... whoops, I just pressed the exit button. PFEW! I'm so relieved Blogspot automatically saves your drafts.

And how do those kids find the strength to play outsi.... WOW! They're running around like little batteries! I'm afraid. Maybe they're robots. This can't be good.
I don't think I used to do that when I was little. Well, I've always been a very lazy person, so that's not so weird.

I'm going to go eavesdrop again! [My mom and sister are having an interesting conversation!]

And something else .. I'm wearing my fathers sandals .. they're disgusting! Hahaha!n Actually ... they don't look too bad on this picture. Well, they are! Especially with socks in 'em!

apologies

alright, for everyone who was offended by my last blog .. I'm so sorry. Now that I read it again I feel like an idiot. An ungrateful idiot.
The day's over now and I feel good! My legs are slightly -- spaghetti-like, but the rest is amazing!
I went to Hanna's tonight. Hanna! I had a great time tonight! Its been a while since we've actually done something together, the two of us. Haha, when I say it like that, it almost sounds as it we're "dating".
Weird!

Good, I'm looking forward to tomorrow! No working! Partying with Sabiene -my mom's youngest sister- and hanging out at the place to be: Zwollywood. Haha, the best city ever!

Now it's time for me to do some stuff, such as drawing on ... my ... NEW DRAWING TABLET! Which I am very excited about. I have some pretty awesome creations already!

So, again: Sorry for my nagging! I could delete that blog .. but I want everybody to know what they're going to get when I'm in an annoying/naggy mood.
"You were Fallon. All the time?"
- Hugh Jackman, the Prestige

As you see I'm doing a lot of stuff at the same time. Not good for my brain, I'm starting to feel a little headache coming op. And O NO! HUGH IS GOING TO DIE! NOOOOO! It can't be!

I need to go!

emotional discharge

Shit. I feel like crap. The weather sucks. Time flies at the wrong occasions [sucks!]. My graduation sucked. The weather sucks. O, I already said that.
Today I woke up, and nobody was home. That's just a terrible feeling. I really don't like that. In face .. I hate that!
And in less than 30 minutes I need to go to work, which I don't feel like doing. I just feel too bad to do something useful.
Please! Just let me watch bad movies! Good movies! Movies! Let me eat chocolate! Ice cream!
Man, it almost sounds like I'm heartbroken. And to be honest it also feels like it. Though I'm not! Well, maybe I am!
The fact that I'm probably never going to see a lot of school-friends of mine is slightly frustrating!

And now I'm off to work. Shit!

technical dumbass

Okay, I tried to put in a Twitter-button on my blog. I tried, and tried, but that HTML doesn't really  make any sense to me. In fact it doesn't make any sense at all. This makes me feel slightly frustrated and most of all: a technical dumbass. The moment I clicked the 'help me! sos! save our souls!' button, I got even more frustrated, 'cause it said this:
Blogger's Layouts feature makes it easy for anyone to customize the look of their blog with little or no technical knowledge.
Ahum, excuse me? I honestly don't know what to do! Not even after reading the instructions.
Fortunately I have all day to figure it out. I didn't have to go to work today. To be honest ... I think my boss is slightly cranky and pissed off. Not because of me! No, of course not. But the tone of his last email was very ... let's say 'unsatisfied'. I bet there are not enough reservations or something. I'm sorry bossy. People just don't like to eat all the crap you let me serve them.
Juuust kidding. The food they serve -I must say- is pretty marvelous!
How do I know? I get to eat a bit of it every day, for lunch. Amazing, right?

Time to sit back, listen to Saybia all day and maybe watch a frigging scary movie! Have any suggestions?

Watching Suckerpunch.

strawberries and cooking in volcanoes

Did you know that in the Azores .. some people cook their food inside volcanoes? Well, I didn't, until this morning.
They basically throw vegetables -such as cabbage, carrots, potatoes and whatever- inside a huge pan, and then, on top of the vegetables  they drape a big, cotton cloth on it and then .. on top of THAT they throw meet. All sorts of meet [to be honest, when I saw it .. it kind of looked disgusting], like pork, beef, chicken and even squid! But the most disgusting thing was .. the black pudding. That is something .. I wouldn't put in there. Gross, gross, gross!
So .. after the stacking of the food, they go to the volcano-place .. they put the pan inside a big hole in the ground and they wait for six hours.

How cool is that? I mean .. it's awesome. Amazing. Cool! Yes, it was absolutely cool.

I learned that the people in certain places in the Azores also make their wine by hand! With these very old, wooden machines!

Man, I'm fascinated.

Now I'm watching Jamie Oliver. He's spending a week, or something, with Indians. Native Americans.
Inspiring.

And gosh, since I graduated .. the fridge has been stacked with awesomeness. Right now I'm enjoying the freshest strawberries I've ever tasted. Omnomnom!
As you notice I'm in some sort of food/cooking-mood.

Adventurous me

Guys, I've been off the blog-scene for a while, but I'm back! I've been trying to blog on Tumblr a bit, but I can't. And by the way .. it's nonsense to blog on two accounts, right?

Anyway! Adventures: I experienced a REAL adventure yesterday! It was absolutely thrilling! Adrenaline pumped through my veins.
I was cycling home, I'd just been to Hanna's, and it was slightly dusky. Of course, this once, I didn't have my lights on. And of course ... the police had to show up. Yes people, COPS!
They were going in the opposite direction, but they noticed me. So they started to turn around. But I was like: no way! I'm not letting them catch me! I'm way too young to go to jail! So I started to cycle my butt off. And I found an alley! Thank goodness! So I hid over there ... and the police car drove by.

PFEW! What a relief!

Today was pretty awesome. I went to Zwolle with my friends and turned it upside down!

Tomorrow .. tomorrow is D-day! Did I pass or not?

Aaaargh! Let's go to bed .. and than the long awaited phone-call. Crap!
