Cousins @ Airport

Lovely Sara at the airport.
I'm melancholic today. My expression hasn't changed the last hour. Melancholy, such a mysterious thing. Isn't that one of the four temperaments? I'm going to Google that. YES I was right. I like being right. I like it when I know something unusual. The Four Temperaments: Sanguine, Choleric, Melancholic and Phlegmatic. I don't even know what 'choleric' is. Sounds like a disease. Oh, when you're choleric it means you're "fundamentally ambitious and leader-like." O! When you're melancholic it means you're "introverted and thoughtful. Melancholic people often were perceived as very (or overly) pondering and considerate, getting rather worried when they could not be on time for events. Melancholics can be highly creative in activities such a poetry and art - and can become preoccupied with the tragedy and cruelty in the world. A melancholic is also often a perfectionist. They are often self-reliant and independent; one negative part of being melancholic is sometimes they can get so involved in what they are doing they forget to think of others."

That actually kind of sounds like me. An entire new world has opened before my eyes! Turns out ... I'm not only a melancholic today ... BUT HAVE ALWAYS BEEN ONE
Well, to a certain extent. I'm not that worried about things. I'm not overly pondering and considerate. But I can live with the poetry and art-part.

And yes, the picture doesn't have anything to do with the story. Well, actually it does! Doesn't this picture make you think about all the sorrow in this cruel world? Not that Sara is that ugly or something. Nooo, I meant ... whatever. I didn't mean anything. Don't blame me for shitting bulls! I'm a melancholic, I'm allowed to do so.

Back when trees were still covered with leaves.

This is what I see when I look out the window.

For my little boozer.

She likes her drinks.
I dedicate this blog to Sanneke, my little boozer. In fact, the only thing I'm going to talk about is her! She's been waiting for me to do this for so long, of course. Everybody is waiting for me -amazing as I am- to dedicate a blog to them!
But this one is for my friend S. She's a really good dancer, and her taste in music is DASHING [just like mine, mehmehme*]!
She's also a good singer, I realized that today. Yeah, we sang. Songs. Several songs. We annoyed studious people. They wanted to throw shoes at us, I know that. We just like singing, to each other. I think. Well, I'm off. Bye Sanneke! And you all.

Emo's, toast and Costume Drama's

I was just browsing though the lovely world wide web, when I came across a very weird Emo-forum-thing. It had something to do with the ghost of broccoli. I don't know. But I do know that it was scary, freaky and awfully weird. Weird as in "not a good way-weird".
Yep, that's it. Just wanted to share that. Now I'm fully focusing on my toast again.

Georgia on my mind.

This is the second blog today. I'm pathetically bored, somehow. But my music makes it all right. My lovely Ray Charles is singing his songs like he does. I wish I had a smile like his! I tried to smile like him, but it didn't really work out. I think, if I try again, somebody might die. Die of weirdness.

Shawshank Redemption, right now I'm looking at the disc, should I start watching it already or not? Not. Dinner's about to be served ... in fact, it's served right now! I'm off.

Shakespeare, I love thee

                                  LVI.

Sweet love, renew thy force; be it not said,
Thy edge should blunter be than appetite,
Which but to-day by feeding is allay'd,
To-morrow sharpen'd in hiss former night:
So, love, be thou; although to-day thou fill
Thy hungry eyes, even till they wink with fulness,
To-morrow see again, and do not kill
The spirit of love with a perpetual dulness.
Let this sad interim like the ocean be
Which parts the shore, where two contracted-new
Come daily to the banks, then, when they see
Return of love, more blest may be the view;
Or call it winter, which, being full of care,
Makes summer's welcome thrice more wish'd, more
           rare.

When I was in London

I love London, I want to go back right now. At this moment. Teleport me there. Somebody? I'm pretty fond of this picture. It's just ... perfect! And it's got Sherlock Holmes on it, makes it a thousand times better already.

I am Wolverine

Today was a good day! I didn't have this much fun in a long time. First some political stuff, in which I didn't participate mentally. Well, a little. Slightly. A weeee bit. Not really. I'm not good at that. I will be once! But now is not the time.
Another thing that totally made my day -besides the fun- ... my article made it to the FRONT PAGE OF THE SCHOOL-PAPER! Yeeehaw!
ANOTHER thing that totally made my day .. was ... that it was fun, and that it's my birthday tomorrow! I'm looking forward to it. Tomorrow is a real birthday-day.

XOXO
Wolverine

Hahahahahahahahahahaha! As if Wolverine would end his letters with 'XOXO'! Idiotic.

A plane on a hot October-day

Plane! I randomly took a shot, and I caught this plane! I'm proud.

Jack is a nerd

Summer-time in October; and yes, that's my finger.
Hectic week! Tuesday: Jazz-concert. Wednesday: take in a live recording of a TV-Show. Thursday: didn't get to bed until 5am. Friday: went to World Press Photo with grandma (she thought I was sick when she saw me, but I was just slightly worn-out) and had a birthday party. Today: sleep it all out.
I don't even know where I got the energy. I do know that I have a cold, a pretty bad one. But I'm not going to blame anything but myself, I left my coat at home when I needed it most. Stupid. Maybe I did, because of my disorientation: a week ago I was at the beach! In October! How cool is that? The leaves were falling and I was "tanning". Yeah, that was fun.

This Monday;

the worst in ages. But to make up for it:

A picture I took of Vera at the lake. I want her hair. I'm gonna steal it. Tomorrow!

Summer in ma bowl.

*GASP!* THAT WAS MADE FOR ME! I didn't know they
made Beetle-trailers! I'm going to dream about this for the
next two weeks.
I think the weather is slightly confused. It's October, and the sun is shining like a madman! Where have you been this summer Sunny*?
At my left I see houses. I see a stork-butt. It flew through the window of the corner-house. I also see my dad's balding head moving through the alley behind our house. And now there's a guy walking on the sidewalk, with an AWFUL white shirt. Belch.
A silver-colored car drives by. And a girl wears a blonde coat. It had the exact same color as her hair! Weird.
Now the street's are dead again. Everybody seems to be inside for some reason (just like me), what an idiots! Go outside! Enjoy this ... O! I see somebody! A guy on a blue Vespa.
1). Guys aren't supposed to be sitting on a Vespa, neither are they supposed to own one. Unless you live in Amsterdam and if you're wearing a suit with high-water-pants and off-white or black socks.
2). If I were a scooter-person I would have had one. But I'm not. I'm more of a VW Beetle-person. Absolutely. The world would be ugly without Beetles.
